This pattern contains 6 mitred square knitting patterns – quick and easy knit squares to sew together to form/create a blanket or throw:-

1. Original mitred square in garter stitch;

2. Stripey mitred square;

3. Garter stitch ridge mitred square;

4. Lacy mitred square;

5. Block mitred square;

6. Little Blossom mitred square.

These patterns can be alternated, knit in single, double or multi-colors or even in hues.

It’s a smart way to use up all your scraps of yarn, hoarding your cupboards.

Size depends on needle and yarn combination.

The pattern is for single squares, which make it suitable for knitting during short trips or when little concentration is needed.

Knitting Needles (I used 4mm, 6US, 8UK) Elle Gold Double Knit (DK) yarn / Light worsted yarn Stitch Markers Scissors Embroidery Needle

What you’ll need:

-Yarn of your choice (the pattern used Elle Gold Double Knit / Light worsted yarn
-Knitting Needles (4mm, 6US, 8UK with DK yarn)
-Scissors
-Stitch Markers
-Tapestry Needle/Blunt Needles (stitching it together)

SKILL LEVEL: Easy

You will need to know how to cast on stitches, knit and purl confidently, read a row by row knitting pattern, bind off stitches and weave in ends.

Blocking of the finished square/s is highly recommended
